I live on the shores of Lake Champlain. It is a great place to have a camera. A few days ago, at the golden hour, I went down to the lake and this was one of the scenes presented to me. I hope you like it.

Tranquility.

We had a 27 foot Hunter. I love to sail.

It's a nice photograph. Why does it need a caption?

(Just maybe it doesn’t - just a nice, social way of including us, the viewers, into a community of “enjoyers” ....)

There is so much about this image that I like, but man, do I have questions. On my PC, so much of it seems to be out-of-focus. "Friedl" says you shot at f/4 and at 1/20000 sec and ISO 2500. Is any of that correct? My monitor shows so much noise that it gives it a "painterly" effect. My caption: Puzzling.

It doesn't look "noisy" on my monitor. Yours may be more sophisticated than mine. I did not shoot it at 1/20000 but rather 1/2000 shutter preferred with auto ISO.
