Depends on the price. Even though I have a D7500 I often shoot with my D7100 because the sensor has more megapixels, so I have detail when I need large enlaregments or sever cropping.
I own a D7100, it is a quality camera, I like it . There are many upgrades out there to choose it really depends on your personal needs. The D7100 with good glass is good in many ways at lease for me.
The D7100 is my primary camera. I bought it when it was just introduced, I have used it extensively and love it. I have looked at up-grading but then why it does everything I need and more. If you can add it on as a back-up or specific purpose Camera or just to experiment with I would go for it.

I have a chance to get a D7100 at a very reasonable price, it it still worth buying a D7100? I presently shoot with a D610, I will definitely keep that camera.
I don’t know what a reasonable price is to you but to me a reasonably priced D7100 would be a nice addition. I would get it and enjoy shooting with it.

I was thinking about buying a new car. Should I buy a new car?
Exactly HOW new ?
What color ?
How many wheels ?
Mirrorless or electric ?
Do you have a dog ?
Have you been checked for allergies ?
Hogsters always need a better analysis of your family history before arguing with each other about how to spend someone else’s $$.

A mirrorless car would be hazardous 😁

That is so true!
Definitely only 2 wheels.

The D7100 is a very capable camera - always good to have an extra camera body (assuming your D610 is your one and only) - so, if the D7100 is in good shape and at an attractive price seems like a no-brainer.
The 7100 is a good camera, but it is getting old. I shoot with it and it is a very good camera. The only problem is the buffer. But that might not bother you at all.
But if it is a good price, then go for it. Even if it is old, you will still get many years out of it.
