This, what is becoming a small tree, is a volunteer in my yard. I live in N. Fla. near the Ga. Line. Before I take it out, I'd like to know what it is, and if I want to keep it. Any help appreciated.

I no botanist but to me that looks like it may be a type of birch. Check with a local plant nursery and ask them may be you best course of action.

Looks like a hackberry to me. I try to kill them when I see them. Also looks like there is a briar coming up as well.
