As a proportion of total population the U.S. ranks 8th in the world in Covid deaths. As a proportion of deaths per Covid cases, the U.S. ranks 23rd in the world, Canada ranks 11th. How is that Socialized medicine working out for you there?

Wealth is not income.
Wealth is assets.
Our house payment is under $50/month on a HELOC.
Our primary income is from rentals owned by our corporation. It pays us far less than it makes. That is how real wealth is built.
I’ve been semi retired for ten years.
The majority of our income is from assets.
As an example, Warren Buffets salary is $100K per year. That is why a high income tax is the firewall that protects the uber rich.
We did not need the stimulus checks and did not keep them and in a sane tax system would not have qualified.
People who have wealth know that it isn’t a from a salary.
Anyone who is in awe of a million net worth is probably barely solvent.
