I have aftermarket grips for all my Nikon cameras. They fit and work, but I have had issues with them and they are almost all plastic. That said, I got a Grey Market grip for my D610 and it was better and less expensive then the aftermarket. That said, I would not likely get a grey market camera or lens but an accessory, you bet. It came with more than the USA version does (the 6 AA cell holder and it's case).
