The Montana Buffalo Bags is offering free camera, messenger and duffel bags for free and you only pay for tax and shipping charges. I logged in to check it out and found out that the final cost was not known until you entered your credit card number! I stopped right there... it did not look legit. Check it out, it is worth looking at it.

I hate to rain on this parade. On April 16, 2020 I ordered two bags from this company—paid over $100.00 for shipping the two “free” bags. After months and months, one finally arrived, (about a week ago) and it was nothing like the quality I expected from the advertised picture.
It is the same bag as pictured, but the picture made it look much better than the delivered product.
I am still waiting for the second “free” bag.
At my age, I should have known better—nothing is free.

Thank you for confirming my suspicion. Something was really wrong here.

Yet millions of people in this country continue to believe that there is.

It's like the old saying: "If it looks to good to be true, it usually is!"

Cavet Emptor!!! (Let the buyer beware...)

I usually get 4 to 5 emails a week, from some yahoo telling me he has 10 million dollars waiting to be put into my personal account. LOL. Printing out these letters, I have a collection of wall paper amounting to over a trillion dollars. How rich I am...Ha, ha.

Rich...

"Free" things can be tricky. Lots of places want the CC number right away - a bad sign.

Years ago, I took advantage of an ad for free items. They offered a 100% instant rebate, and the buyer paid shipping. The items weren't great, and shipping was a bit higher than I expected, but I got a few good things - penknife, etc., - for less than I would expect to pay. Nothing major, but I mainly wanted to see if it would work.

Yes, and the rest of us pay dearly every two years.

Recently there has been a rash of ads on Facebook advertising heavily discounted name-brand clothing and other things. Discounts like 90%. All are scams and should be reported to Facebook.

There are some legitimate sites offering “free” items with shipping around $10.00. I’ve ordered several and have been satisfied with the items.

There are other sites offering similar “deals” but also come with a monthly subscription fee hidden in the “terms and conditions”. They’ll say the subscription can be canceled at any time but a little research shows this isn’t the case. Even if the cancellation is successful you’re still out the fees already paid.
Just be careful.

The TOYOTA CORONA was a fine car for it's day.

I remember as a kid in Appalachia we had a general store called 'BAILEY BOYS COUNTRY STORE' that practiced creative advertising and once advertised a "19 INCH BLACK AND WHITE TELEVISION FOR ONLY $1.99"*

* "WITH THE PURCHASE OF A $298 ROLLER STAND
