Add some Kudzu cuttings to your gift bag. It'll take over the whole country in about a week.

Just wondering if anyone has received any of those mystery seeds from China and thereabout.

I got a packet last week and planted them in a pot to contain them. Good thing too as you can tell from the photo......

There is a bright red seed with a black spot.
They are used on Rosaries and jewelry.
Airbus precatorius, or Rosary pea.
I thought the seeds and plant pretty and ordered some.
ONE OF THE MOST DEADLY
POISONESS SEEDS THERE ARE.
More so than castor bean.
And NO WARNING.
The point?
Do not even open any seeds recieved this way.
Bill

Isn't Ricin made from the Castor Bean oil? I have no intentions of handling these packet if I get them, except to double bag them and take to the police station or nearest agriculture center. Then I'm going to wash my hands in some strong hot soapy water.

That's not a plant, that's a pet.

Milkweed seeds are vital to the Monarch Butterfly population. I guess those insects should avoid Iowa.

They even come with a microphone, so they can hear every word you say.
Be careful. Be VERY careful.

Sounds like a plan. Just keep the milkweed for the Monarchs.
If you have some Locust trees, send them some good healthy root balls. They have 4-5" thorns.

I could be wrong, but I think that's where it originated.

Correct about ricin.
In the bean, the one of which I spoke is MORE poisoness.

Maybe the idea was to plant them if you want to raise some ear studs.

If I understood the Journo correctly Amazon are not directly involved. It's a scam to get the likes % up and the punter then purchases some dross having fallen for a highly rated company. The item was preceeded by a phone in in which the lady said she didn't do Amazon. So there is some random address phishing going on as well.

Send me the milkweed, and I'll replace it with field bindweed and send it on. (Got some extra I don't need.)

I could use some milkweed seeds too - we have a wild area at the back of our yard - and the Monarch Butterflies need some assistance!

Milkweed is fairly easy to start and grow.
Private me if you need or want method.
More people should plant it, and plant the 'correct' one.
