I shoot a lot of infrared and I use to be able to transfer from my card reader to the computer and when finish, I'd put the card back in my camera and the photos would still be there but, lately when I transfer from my card reader or directly to the computer and put the card back in my camera, it says no image. Help
Many programs have a "Delete after upload" selection. Could you have accidentally chosen that option?
When you transfered the images from your card, did you move them or copy them?
I copy them so the originals are still on the card.

If you drag and drop from an external drive or card onto your PC, it'll automatically copy, leaving the originals in place. However, be warned that if you drag and drop within the same drive on your PC it will move rather than copy.
Are your import settings set to copy or move files off your card. sounds like its set to move, so the filres are removed from the card. I always copy mine so I have a second copy right away.
I would try to put them into a blank file. Just put a file on your screen and drag to it. See what happens. PS Let us know.

You have done what?
I've imported the photos on my computer and saved them but, like I said when I put the card back in my camera, the camera says no image where as I used to put the card back in the camera there was images on it.
If you put them into a file with no attachment to any soft ware it my not effect you card.

By the way you stated your problem I assume you used software to download your images, instead of just dragging and dropping your files onto your computer memory. If so, what program did you use? You may have checked a box that deletes transfered images.
Have you considered using a cable to transfer the images and leaving the card in the camera until you verify that the images were transferred?

And if you THEN put the card back in the computer, does the computer see the images?
If so, images are still on card, might be that somehow the computer upset the card format the camera is expecting.
If not, images gone, then whatever software you are using is truly MOVING the images, not copying them. How exactly are you doing the import? Windows explorer or Mac equivalent (basically the OS), or are you using some type of PP software for the import?

It matter HOW you "imported". If you used any kind of program, it might have moved rather than copied the files. If you moved the files, they will be in the computer but not on the card, so no longer in the camera.
Windows Explorer. I save my images and put them in a folder and made sure they were saved but why the card lost the images when placed back in the camera. It never did that before as I always had to format the card after placing in the camera
