Within this picture I'm posting, (taken on a Leica CL with 7Artisan lens, 85mm, F1.4), I was happily surprised to see the reflections of the waterlilies reflected on the droplets from the waterfall in the background. These weren't visible at all in the camera either on the EVF or LCD screen. Is there a way of knowing this is happening in a shot, can you plan for it or is it mostly "shoot and hope"? The photo above is after cropping, and some dodge and burning. Second photo is SOOC. Thanks
Doesn't look like a Lillie to me. Looks like a + sign. If you didn't know the lillies were there, would you be able to figure out what was reflected?
I think maybe you would have to plan ahead and put your critical focus on the reflection.
This was just a surprise. I've seen wonderful droplet reflections done intentionally. I was just wondering what might have cause it this time. Thanks for your comments, appreciated.
You know, I just reread my comment and its a little cold. So sorry about that. Wanted to help, so I should have tried to be kinder.
The flowers are water lilies, different from land lilies
