Meant to post this earlier but have been under the weather a bit. Been going to the Univ. of Utah Medical Center the past couple of weeksto have some skin cancer removed. This last trip was a "Mohs" procedure...not fun, ended up taking a big wedge cut out of my ear this visit. Have one more trip and hope it is over for good.

Anyhow, on a nicer note, these are some old dilapidated out buildings around the property. A couple were in relatively good shape and others had collapsed. Time marches on.

The skin cancer fight is never over. Keep up with it, yearly exams, and treatment will be less drastic.

The photos are very good, can almost smell the dust and sun warmed wood.

Nice set! Good luck with treating your skin cancers. Have been fighting that battle all my life--MOHS is the only way to go on those that need it.

Very nicely done, jederick. Down here in Cajun country we, too, have to watch out for skin cancer. Stay healthy.

Great shots. I'm sure that place has an interesting history.

As for the skin cancer, you have to keep after it. I've had at least three of each kind, including the MOHS surgery. I go for a skin check every six months. They often use liquid nitrogen to freeze suspected spots.

Many thanks djclow. We've been in the same boat all these years. I spent too much time at the beach growing up and am now paying the price!!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Jerry. I should own stock in liquid nitrogen companies...now they want to start me on "chemo cream" in November...don't know if I want to go that route. Two applications a day for 21 days.
