Does anyone know the name of this flower
It is an Allium. Looks like one of the "Globemaster" types. About 10 inches across and around 36 inches tall.

Thank you for identifying my flower. It was hard to search for on the internet not knowing where to start. I guess there are different colors but blue and purple are popular
Look at the leaves. It's not Allium.
This appears to be a member of the Alium family. They can be found with many different heights and flower sizes, all the way up to Giant Alium which can be as tall as a small human with very large flower heads. Hard to tell without stem and perspective which variety this is.
Actually, it's a Blue Globe Thistle.

Echinops ritro - Globe ThistleProper Name: Globe Thistle (Echinops ritro). Soft Violet-Blue Globes on Tall, Vigorous Plants! Blooms all summer! Splendid in dried arrangements! A mass of bobbing Globe Thistles, their softly-colored heads adding valuable blue color to the garden, is a spectacular sight in the summer sun! Ranging in size from 1 to 1 3/4 inches across, they are a gentle violet-blue, with a fuzzy appearance that adds to the soft, calming effect of the tall heads.
The plant grows eagerly to 5 feet, holding the blooms well above the rich, finely-cut foliage. A fine landscape choice, and unexcelled for dried arrangements! To dry, simply cut the stem while the flower is still very fresh, and hang it upside-down in a well-ventilated, dry, somewhat cool location.
Flowering Time: Summer
Hardiness Zone: 3-8
Height: 24-48 Inches
Light: Full Sun
Cut Flower: Yes
Yup. It's Globe Thistle.
