Northern Ireland: St. Augustine's Church Derry - Color or B&W?
The color imparts an uplifting mood to me whereas the B&W is somewhat moody/ ominous. I prefer the color.
Very nice shot.

Excellent shot Mark, love the colour version with the flowers.
I've never understood the "either/or" requests. In my practice, I say "both." Some photos make good B&W's and some do not. If they don't, in my eyes, they're probably not as good even in colour as those that do. And if a photo is truly worthy of B&W, then I will normally save it as both colour and B&W.
COLOR, most definitely. More separation and clarity. Nice job.
God Bless,

St. Augustine's Church is locally known as the “Wee Church on the Walls” and is thought to be the site of the 6th Century monastery in the Doire Calgach area on the east side of the River Foyle near the city walls. According to oral and documented history, the site was granted by a local king. The monastery then remained in the hands of the federation of Columban churches who regarded St. Colmcille as their spiritual mentor. The present building dates from 1872 and is in the design of 13th Century gothic style.
I took this image as we walked on the walls of Derry. I thought it might make a nice B&W because of the great clouds contrasted with the old stones. Which do you prefer?

I usually prefer b&w but in this case, the colour looks better.
I think the color one would look good printed and on a wall.
The other one, save for Halloween.

I love Both---Equally....the color version for the colors(of course) and the B&W for the textured grey scales in it's details. I usually have no problem in choosing but not this time around. Great Work...regardless.
Thank you.
Color, because in B&W the buildings in the background take on too much control. Great shot!

Each is beautiful in its own right. The message conveyed by each is, to me, quite different.

Definitely the color for me, Mark.

I find the color more appealing in this one.
My vote is the color shot. Depending on what you want to covey, the B&W is the sinister, foreboding thought. The Color is bright, cheerful and happy.
I usually vote for B&W but in this case I would go for the color version, partly because of the beautiful color in the plants and bushes. Don Z.
Thanks for my pictures!
