Stevie Ray and Albert King in concert.
If you enjoy electric guitar and the blues it is hard to imagine that it gets any better than this. The quote was directed at Stevie, a protege of King's who when a young teenager would come onto stage and play with King at clubs down in Texas. This was recorded live for television on December 6, 1983 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

anyone who can play a stringed instrument is a genius!
Two greats having a musical conversation. Thanks for sharing this!
What is interesting about Albert King is that his guitars were strung in reverse, the bass strings on the bottom.

He played lefty like Jimi Hendrix.
Another well known quitarist that played lefty is Bill Staines. He comes to our town about once a year.

Which way depends on weather one is left handed or right handed.
Thank you. There is a video of Albert, B.B., Stevie Ray, and Paul Butterfield doing, The Sky is Crying, six weeks before Butterfield died. It’s on YouTube-American Blues Scene. I haven’t found another B.B. and Albert performance, but this is a great one. Highly recommended.
Jimi Hendrix picked up from Dick Dale. Left hand player and strings are not reversed.
Watch him play, you will see what I mean, I guess he is playing a right handed guitar left handed.
