Slide Rock SP, like all of Sedona, is very pretty and a good place to cool down.
Been there several times and it does get crowded and hard to find a parking spot...nice series, thanks for sharing!!
Been there many times. It's just south of Flagstaff where I graduated from High School. It would get crowded even that long ago. But there are more remote places on the river with a little privacy. Nice photos.

Beautiful set of shots, nicely done
Very nice set - well done!!
Nice place--I was there once before it was a state park, I think. There were very few people. This was back in my lost slide days.
Are these recent pictures? I've always liked Slide Rock but not all the people.

There is definitely something about Sedona , and I should go there some day if I can. I have friends who go there semi-annualy and they love it. I am told there are several parks available to enjoy and your images seem to relay that.
Very nice
Nice photo series, of Slide (Slippery) Rock State Park. The water covered rocks are slicker than ice. Bare feet, lug sole boots, deck shoes, flip-flops, anything and if you are not real careful you will examine the wet rocks from up close and painful. There is a chute that is about 2 feet deep that you can sit down in and the water will take you down the creek about 100 feet and dump you in a pool after a very small waterfall.
Lived in the Flagstaff area for 26 years and spent a lot of time and film at Slide Rock, great place.
Very good series, a lot of people enjoying themselves, great to see.

show quote)
I know from first hand experience what you mean by slippery rock. Here in southern Illinois we have a waterfall that is fed by a creek that runs across the road. The bed is solid slippery rock and one day while crossing it I went down hard and was bruised from my hip to about halfway to the knee.
