Some times they did fly. Doing 80+ MPH and meeting an 18 wheeler doing almost the same. You could come close to flying with the combined wind shock of 160 MPH!!

As has been said by many others, a 1963. One of my favorite cars from my gear heading days. Spent many hours helping a friend work on his 63 SS, with a built -up 327. I had a cherry red convertible with a white top. 283 AT. Sold it before I left for college.
