As the OP, I will simply say this about my post that has received the most replies of any I have posted, I am glad I found a site I enjoy posting some of my old and not so old images. I hope everyone who visits the site finds something that they find uplifting, inspirational or educational. There are all kinds of viewers and all kinds of photos and we are each here for our own reasons, looking for our own purposes. I will say that in a small way, after I meet a model, work with her, get to know a little about her, find something in her I want to capture and present to others in a way that is I hope both respectful, maybe a bit sensual or at the very least interesting, to have the comment "nice tits" as one of the primary responses to my work makes me a bit sad that I failed to do what I intended with my images and somehow I let down the model and the unspoken agreement I feel I make with them regarding my presentation of them in an open and vulnerable state. Doesn't mean I don't want that response if it is an honest opinion, but it is tinged with some sadness. I am by no means a pro or even probably a great photographer, I am just a hack who likes taking photos of all kinds and the recent opportunity of sharing many after all these years was/is rewarding beyond my initial anticipation. To those that provided feedback or compliments, I thank you.

mjc: don’t let a few guys who don’t understand what you are trying to do. Shooting live models, especially nude, is very difficult. Anyone can snap a picture, but getting it beyond porn and into an art form is something few can accomplish. I tried and never felt my work of this sort accomplished what I had tried to do. So, enjoy that some appreciate your effort and ignore those who can see no further. Keep working until YOU are satisfied. Most, but not all, of us are our most harsh critics. Keep your work coming. Most folks will be honest admirers of your efforts and results.

Very simply, I bothered because this is a public space. Would he walk into a cafe in his town and seeing a young lady say "Great ____!" No, I doubt that. So why does he do it here? It is out of disrespect for most of us. That is why I bothered, and also to expose his motivation, silly as it is. I am a conservative, not a prude, but I believe in respecting people and being respected. The photographic artwork depicted her deserves our respect.

You would be wrong. I don't have a problem with the word itself - used in private directly to a female, who is fine with the usage. In this forum - not so much. It really shows that you are somewhat clueless about how/when/where to behave properly - which the military should actually have taught you......................

Are you so smart that you know how the model feels about this comment? I know many women that would be flattered by this comment and many who would use the same term in complimenting another woman. You need to reconsider applying your prudish attitudes willy-nilly.

I may agree with your observation, but at least I’m courteous enough to limit my public comments to the image, not the body parts. Unlike you.
