A special footrace was set up for the running club. Four members were assigned to each team. The team had to move THEMSELVES AND A FLAG from point A to point B while adhering to the following rules.
The flag must ALWAYS BE CARRIED by one of the team members running between the points A and B.
No more than two people can run from point A to B at a time AND they must run at the slower person’s pace, with the slower person carrying the flag.
The flag may be carried back to point A by any person running at their own pace.
Here’s the team - Drew, Courtney, Chandra, and Caleb
Courtney could run the distance between A and B in 5 minutes
Drew could run that distance in 1 minute
Caleb needs 10 minutes to run the distance
Chandra could run the distance in 2 minutes
What is the fastest time possible for the team to complete the task of getting themselves and the flag from Point A to Point B?

ANSWER: 17 Minutes Read each line ACROSS, not down.
Point A to B ............................................... Point B to A
Drew & Chandra run to B = 2 min. .............. Chandra returns to A = 2 min.
Courtney & Caleb run to B = 10 min............. Drew returns to A = 1 min.

I have one more puzzle coming today, in about one hour (8 AM, east coast USA time) For those who like this sort of thing, it will be a really neat one. There are no tricky or hidden meanings in my puzzles - they are meant to be straight forward, as read. Thank you to all who sent in answers.

19 minutes - Drew runs with each player and brings the flag back himself each time for shortest return time
