From what you sourced, the U.S. ranks 8th in deaths per million in the world. That's far from the worst for the only country reporting their figures fairly.

These anti-American fascist progressives also tend to forget the non-homogeneity of the U.S. and our size. Anyone interested in a real comparison would use individual states to compare to most of the worlds countries.

Man, you continue to display your ignorance on a regular basis!

You might want to actually UNDERSTAND what the hell it is we’re talking about before you engage your limited brain... IF you could read you would see I addresses MORTALITY rates, not per capita cases. Please have someone read the following numbers to you:

USA
3042667 cases, 133062 deaths = .04373 or 4.47% mortality rate

Canada
105935 cases, 8693 deaths = .0821 or 8.2% mortality rate

Please note the words “mortality rate” and the fact that Canada’s is almost twice as high.

These numbers are from: virusncov.com

Result? Gosh, YOU are screwing up!!! Of course, we ALL believe it!
Man, you continue to display your ignorance on a r... (show quote)

It would be funny if you were not manipulating the numbers to fit your needs to appear... Whatever you think you are.

Good luck with your over rated ego.

You are so freaking sad!

There is no manipulation of numbers (which I suspect you already know), they are accurate, and they represent THE MORTALITY RATE.

The RESULT is that all but the truly brain dead can see the Canadian mortality rate for COVID is almost twice that of the USA.

Perhaps we're just hardier stock.

Good luck with your fragile ego where you cannot accept being grossly ignorant and wrong on a matter that only required you to read and comprehend!

Perhaps you shouldn't have engaged
your nasty attitude and bias before reading.

Glad you pointed this out. Every set of numbers I've seen published are manipulated to make the US look bad.

Here's the deal: No matter how bad the US numbers seem, their perceived severity has nothing to do with our Federal response. A larger percentage of cases were caused by mishandling at the State level. Last time I checked the Feds didn't insist on seeding COVID cases in nursing homes or running mass transit systems with no mask requirements or sanitation programs.

The truth of the matter is the working population of the US cannot shelter in place until there is a vaccine AND save our economy. As a population, the US was asked to stay at home until we could handle the spread. We did that and now we're going to handle the spread. As a retired person, the OP may not get that. When bread hits $10 a loaf, the OP MAY get that. The demographic that has to worry most about this pandemic can keep their head down, the rest of us need to get back to work.

Cute little trump worshiper. I like the start with : : No matter how bad the US numbers seem, their perceived severity has nothing to do with our Federal response. :: Can not be more obvious than the I do not care how many dead there are, Trump has no responsibility.
And no exaggerations from you, “When bread reaches $10 a loaf”. My bread has not gone up, why would you bring this up, oh... a scare tactic.

Are you questioning the existence of the Cuomo/Murphy death marches into the long term care facilities? Or the fact that NYC did, in fact, open public transportation to the homeless?

Which "news" of his are you questioning the source of?

If you need to ask while continuing your political posturing, searching for answers other than the ones you seek to suit your agenda would be a waste of time.

Mortality rate = deaths/cases.
Case is a factor of the number of test. Of course the fact that we have only tested less that 20 of the population and have traced even less is not mentioned
More test make bottom number bigger so of course the % goes down.
Beyond that it means nothing the test is just political blather. Not worth reading and nothing but a distraction .
Trump has latched into a number he can brag about to distract from the fact that America has 30 % of the worlds cases, 27%? Of the worlds deaths and only 4% of the world population.

He talks , and his worshippers repeat it , about mortality rate to distract from the dismal failure of America in its fights against this pandemic

We are middle of the pack certainly not near the top .

I'm not cute and I'm not little. I don't worship Trump, I just vote for the best choice presented. Countries like the US and Canada who have currencies that are propped up by the faith of lenders have fragile economies. Don't worry, 10 dollar bread wouldn't last for long, it would be followed quickly by no bread.

Your ignorance is amazing. Now it is no bread. Do you patch your britches or do you just buy ones with new knees after trump.

Unfortunately, the Democrats and the media are trying to use virus panic to wreck our country and bring their side into power as a better alternative. They're creating a massive unemployment problem with the poor and of course, they're going to tell everyone that only they can fix it. Things are already recovering too nicely to suit them. Luckily, now they have a convenient civil unrest issue they can also ride for a while.

Chávez came into power in 1998 by promising the poor in Venezuela he'd redistribute wealth. The underlying platform of the radical left is not that different. Biden is going to be a hand puppet. The question is who's going to have their hand stuck up his a$$. If it's AOC, this may be our future.

No time for ignorance. You have not answered anything except to throw more crap on the wall. None of it sticks. Try again in January when trump is gone.

I'll bet my back-up camera against your back-up camera that Trump gets reelected. Oh wait, do you take photos?

Why would anyone want to bet on an election. You obviously are mentally challenged and to take anything of value would be immoral.
Trump is losing and his popularity is fading g fast. He is looking for an excuse to quit, why do you think he wants these great crowds and exposure to Covid. He hopes to get lucky and have the disease take the hit for his resignation.
