From L to R:
- NIKKOR 180 f2.8 AF-D. Was asking $350. Solid 9 of 10 condition.
- NIKKOR 135 f2.8 AI MF. Was asking $150. Solid 8.5 of 10 condition.
- NIKKOR 85 f1.8 AF-D. Was asking $200. Solid 9 of 10 condition.
Five other lenses and 3 cameras had sold during the sale.
I stopped by just as they were shutting down on Sunday. They dropped the prices to $250/$100/$150.
I offered $350 for the lot and we settled at $400 if they all mounted, focused, and metered. They did.
I need to shop in your neck of the woods.
Great haul!!!!

You have to go looking for whatever is there and hope you get lucky.
This is the first time I’ve found really good glass at a garage sale.
Exercise stuff is commonly available and cheap.
You're going to need a bigger garage!

Off topic, as usual, but true.
We have a two car and a one car garage with three cars, and a murdercycle.

Too bad you can't confine your trolling comments to the Attic. Not a big surprize.

Another common find ... cheap ... is one or two generations old computers and HDTV sets.
Good bargain hunting certainly. But do you plan to use them, or resell them?
Great buy! If you are into portraits I bet you will be very pleased with the 135 mm lens.
If you need to get out really quick will give you $410 this morning.
Last month I happened to walk in my favorite camera store when at just the right time and bought slightly used AF-S Nikkor 200 mm 2.0; AF-S Nikkor 400 2.8 and Nikkor AF-S 600 4.0.
Christmas for the next few years arrived early.
Overwhelming equipment for a 77-year-old that that still has the 1940's black box Kodak and a Yashica that I purchased when I was serving aboard the USS Newport News CA-148 in the 1960s.

I already have one, but it’s pretty beat on the outside.
Both are quite excellent IMHO.

I appreciate the offer, but I’m a pack rat.
I still have my first camera, a KODAK 107.
I live in northern center part of Northern of New York so far I have found very few garage sale. Normal at this time of the year you have one person garage sale and than you have town wide garage sales. Last weekend I found only two garage sales. I cover an area that would be 60 miles from west to east and 20 miles north to south.
