Social distancing has taught me that there are many people I’m happy to be at least six feet away from and I will likely continue the practice.

Thanks, Jerry. As an introvert, I can identify with Dilbert. Although I am considered "essential personnel" and have been at work through the entire period, it has been relaxing to not have anyone coming around.

Where I live, most people recognize the value of wearing a mask. However, some won't due to rebellion , and some through ignorance. In any case, they increase the risk of contagion.
I realize this is chit chat and hence it really isn’t off topic... it can I suggest that we all just quit talking about masks. They’re a sensitive subject for some on both sides...and the finer nuances of yes or no, material, when, where, who, and how have been argued over ad nauseum.
Rather than have yet another snarky comment debate...and the snarky adjective is not directed at anyone in particular especially the quoted member...let’s all just let it go.
Much like the political, gun, abortion, and every other contentious issue arguments...the snark, name calling, and general disrespect don’t change anybody’s mind...so let’s argue about crop vs full frame, prime over zoom, UV filter or not instead:-)
We now return you to your regularly scheduled chit chat.
My sister said she always wanted to be a hermit. She is almost there, but doesn't know what to do about her husband.

Thanks Jerry. The humor is very welcome. Some people contribute to the problem and some people contribute to the cure.

Please! This is just supposed to be a funny comic strip about those two guys not minding being alone for a while. It's got nothing to do with whether or not the virus is a hoax, or freedom, or wearing masks, or Trump. It's about joy in the avoidance of people. Reading some comments on this forum, I can understand that.
Jerry, I agree that the posting you are referring to was unwarranted. Since I joined this blog on occasions I too had items such as this attached to my topics. When that happens I just put that person on my ignore list.
According to the UHH help file “Users in your ignore list won't be able to send you private message and post replies in your topics“ an so far that has worked for me (or appears to have 😃😃)

Those of you who believe the socialist/communist hype, the novel corona virus is the worst plague to ever hit mankind of all the previous corona viruses and would wipe out half the world's population if not for government actions of incarceration of the public (for their own good, to Hell with the economy). Yes, the disease has wreaked death among the susceptible in great numbers, just like sars, swine flu, ebola, etc. but we didn't cause such massive destruction of the economy and dependence on a controlling, repressive government with all the others plagues which are STILL with us. Sanitary methods and building/maintaining a strong immune system are of prime importance for health instead of listening to a confused male in drag or other government people with great interests in drug companies for obscene profits.

Negative your last. It is nearly all old people with pre-existing health conditions. Research the numbers and you will find that the fear-mongering hype is worse than the cure of destruction of the economy.
