Very nice! When I lived in McHenry County IL they would buzz me as I ran along country roads. They can sure be aggressive, especially if close to their nests.

I suspect the redwing is more like a mosquito to the eagle... An Irritant and little more... I have seen this harassment of the eagle a few times out there... Busse is a neat place... Less than a mile from my place... Even closer to my daughters house (about 2 houses away from the park) Supposedly close to 300 species of birds live there in the park...

You might be right... I had one grab my hair (when i had more) while riding my bicycle in the woods...And one used to regularly chase my youngest daughter at her bus stop on the way to school... Ornery birds for sure... Thanks for dropping in...
