I saw the exhibit a few years ago at the Minneapolis Russian Art Museum. The pictures were displayed as large transparencies. Fantastic exhibit but it did not go into the technical details of the camera. Most subject were static or people sitting still but there was a picture of the polo like game played with a dead goat, there was some movement of people in that picture. Most of the pictures were from the central Asian country, I don't recall picture from Russia proper in the exhibit.
