We elect politicians to manage that for us. They tax us and hire police to protect us.

Let’s see what happens in November to these Governors and Mayors who have laid waste to portions of our cities.

Who give a dam about some statue of a person who own slaves or belive that own another person was right. If my history is right did not people in New York City destroy a statue of George III?

My take is that America is and always will be a work in progress. This isn't a bad thing. Over the course of our country's history we have undoubtedly changed for the better. When our country was founded slavery was part of the constitution. Voting was limited to white land owners. Women and children were considered property. Universal education was unheard of and child labor was widespread. We have come a long way since then.
