Nice shot. As bright as that thing is, I'm guessing it's a planet. And, since you're looking generally west, shortly after sundown, I'll guess it's Venus. Regardless, that's one of the best shots I've seen of Lake Tipsoo in quite a while. (Mine are usually from the road, also.)

Hate to bust your bubble! But that is the sun before sunset! I used an 8 stop ND Filter at F22! This is the Tarn on the south side of the road at the bend in the road!
