Since we are in a photography forum I will reserve my opinion about the President but in case you are interested I am a conservative. Car accidents kill near 20,000 Americans each year, usually below 25 years of age. Tobacco and related products kill considerably much more, heart disease and cancer both have a significant toll. If you search data it will be easy to learn that Covid-19 kills less than 20% of its victims. I learned of a family of three, all of them infected with Covid-19, all of them survived and did not even have to go to the hospital. Mutation of the virus? Perhaps, I do no really know.

I laughed all the way to the park when I saw in the US media that the US had more cases of the infection than Italy. Has anybody made a comparison between both countries regarding who has more population? NY as far as I know has near 20 million people living there and the increase in cases has not been significant compared to the population. The Flu kills more people of advanced age and immune deficient patients every year than the deaths due to Covid-19.

If you do not read the media and this is my opinion, you are not informed. If you read it you are misinformed. The virus kills, people do not have the discipline to follow the rules and there is no other way to contain the disease than educating the public that seems to refuse to hear.
After what I saw this past weekend in the Florida Keys it comes to me as no surprise that authorities in Dade-County and the Florida Keys but especially Key West are closing again to the public.
