Evolution will take over shortly in the south and southwest.

I am fairly sure we would disagree on every topic of today's political stupidity, but there is a major difference. I hope for those I deem to be ill informed and mistaken in their appraisal of facts to change their opinion because I feel it benefits everyone. Many of those who disagree with me tend to hurl insults, suggest my tendency to 'evil' and wish my death. I'd suggest any impartial judge would rate my stance as 'human', be my views correct or incorrect and deem the other stance as 'inhuman' or even 'hateful' or 'evil'.

I took a physical required of me by law (and not suspended because of COVID by the way) and NO ONE on staff was wearing a mask. Are you suggesting they want to die? That they are stupid? Some have medical degrees..... Or is it possible that these 40 and under professionals see that for themselves this disease is NOT scarier than the typical Flu ? Or is it maybe that they have made a choice to radiate calm instead of paranoia? I spoke at length (long wait) with a nurse. She said simply that she'd rather get COVID than project paranoia to the community. She did suggest the elderly and otherwise ill stay home, but did not want to ruin her children's future with vast over-reaction.

If this, "medical facility" actually allows their staff not to wear masks they need to be closed down immediately. I'd go so far as reporting them to the DOH and following through to have the nurses, doctors and other licensed staff members licenses suspended or revoked.
There is no justification for this stupidity and that's exactly what it is.

I guess all of the protesters all around the country had no concerns about getting Covid 19 either?

If the were stupid enough to not wear a mask there will be an outbreak just like those that go to crowded bars or beaches. I for one would rather be wise and safe and not spread this virus to other people.

So I’ve stopped warning people about wearing a mask.

I figure it’s their life to lose.

This is especially true for those planing to attend the Republican convention.

It’s their lives, their beliefs, and their right to live in a manner that they are comfortable with.

The Republican Convention may be a repeat of history...I’m thinking William Henry Harrison.

The person that you riddle is nothing compared to the mayors around the country who allowed protests/riots to
happen during a deadly pandemic.
You have a bad case of myopic hate...

Actually the time spread is 2-14 days and the average is slightly less the. 5 days (4.67 days, I believe).

I am very sad for the person in charge of trying to educate you and gets paid based on results.....hopefully they are getting paid a “smug” premium.

Apparently fascist progressive protestors, like packages from Amazon, all Lowe’s/Home Depot/Walmart/Target/Grocery stores, are immune from COVID.

Perhaps you are actually referring to politician Andrew Cuomo, who repeated history with his Eichmann-like marching all those aged folks in NY to their deaths?

I find your statement interesting, but inaccurate. If you watched the rally before and after, many of the people attending were from out of state, i.e not from Oklahoma. Here is the latest statistic from National Public Radio on the status of increase; most of which unfortunately are Trump states that voted for him in 2016:
STATE AVG. THIS WEEK PER 100K % CHANGE VS. 2 WEEKS AGO
Idaho 214 new cases/day 12 per 100K +613%
Florida 6,589 new cases/day 31 per 100K +271%
Nevada 624 new cases/day 20 per 100K +192%
Texas 5,559 new cases/day 19 per 100K +183%
Georgia 1,927 new cases/day 18 per 100K +128%
Arizona 2,849 new cases/day 39 per 100K +118%
Mississippi 605 new cases/day 20 per 100K +109%
S Carolina 1,283 new cases/day 25 per 100K +96%
California 5,554 new cases/day 14 per 100K +77%
Tennessee 963 new cases/day 14 per 100K +69%
Louisiana 977 new cases/day 21 per 100K +66%
Utah 537 new cases/day 17 per 100K +64%

This is a disease that is 5 times more virulent than the flu, with currently no vaccine or cure. Masks are to prevent you passing on the disease to others.

The President's encouragement of not wearing masks is extremely ill-advised, as is having rallies with people without masks gathering in close proximity. Likewise, so are the protestors, the crowds on the beach and so on.

Timing of the disease - if some contract this disease they may not be symptomatic but once they get home the incubation the clock starts again for those with decreased immunities, the elderly, etc.

The President should be setting an example; he is, but it is the wrong one.

Why are you not telling the truth. Does the kremlin tell you directly or do you have a translation device.

Where I live at one point we were the epicenter of the pandemic. The worse is over now but we all know people we lost or were very sick. This virus is no joke and when I go out it is very rare to see someone without a mask and social spacing is a must. it was reported that yesterday only 3 people was hospitalized and no one died. I really don't understand why people don't wear masks their life may depend on it. I would rather wear a mask then be on a ventilator or dead.

I am too, and I also know people that have been lost or very sick and whose lungs have been scarred. This place did what it had to do in order to control a raging epidemic. The virus is no joke and it isn't just like the flu. Its much worse. I've seen it.

Masks and social distancing work - what's so wrong about choosing caution? Too cautious? Inconvenient. Not cautious enough? Possibly fatal.

You should try one, not one on tv but a real physician.
