For the Nikon classic camera collector. Introduced in the 1970s this a chrome 35mm NIKKORMAT FTN body in working condition. FTN body serial number is: FT3769175.
All FTN body controls are set manually. Film has not been run through the camera but an informal review shows all functions are working, microprism spot focusing screen is clean and TTL light meter has a brand new battery (Duracell 625a).
Body is clean but there are several small dents on either side of the viewfinder and on the prism top (See red circles in photos), but this does not seem to affect operation. The viewfinder is missing the round threaded eyepiece. Photos show details and condition of all actual items.
INCLUDES:
• Nikon Brown leather case
• Body cap
• Original Instruction Manual
• Extra Duracell 625a light meter battery
• Nikon cable release (missing screw, will not lock in closed position)
• Nikon flip-up Eyepiece Magnifier with rubber eye cup
Price for all items is $65.00+shipping. If interested send me a PM.

Is this a fixed lens camera? What are the lens specs?
This is an interchangeable lens body. The Nikkormat FTN uses the Nikon F mount and will take Nikon and other mfg lenses. To use the camera meter the lens must have auto-coupling to mate with the pin on the body. Many earlier model lenses have this feature.
FYI I have a Nikon 35-135mm lens with auto-coupling that can be mounted on the FTN body listed in today's classified section. Check it out.

Matt Dillon asked me to ask: based on the pictures, how can it be a fixed lens camera, when there isn't even a lens attached? This leads Matt to believe it I'd an ILC.
I agree. The photos clearly show a camera body.

Not familiar with the camera but with the dials visable it looked like there was a pancake lens. I realize that you think because you know something that someone else doesn’t that makes you superior but it doesn’t work that way.
Lets knock off the BS, do you still have the camera? If you do I will take. Send PM how to pay you and how you are mailing it and my mailing address. PS: I live in New York City for 13 years-Two in Brooklyn & 11 years in the Bronx.
This is an interchangeable lens SLR camera that was introduced by Nikon in the '60s. It uses the same F mount lenses as the Nikon F. There were no pancake lenses back then. The Nikkormat FTn was a great camera and a great second body for photo journalists as well as people just getting into the Nikon system. It succeeded the Nikkormat FT.
