Why are you obsessed with blacks having children out of wedlock? Are you under the impression this is exclusively something black people do?
Probably because there is a lot of evidence, and many sociologists and others believe, that not having a father present creates a drag for children that can affect them throughout their lives, including but not limited to the following:
1. 5 times the average suicide rate (63%)
2. Dramatically increased rates of depression and anxiety:
3. 32 time the average rate of incarceration:
4. Decreased education levels and increased drop-out rates (71 percent of all high school dropouts)
5. Consistently lower average income levels:
6. Lower job security:
7. Increased rates of divorce and relationship issues:
8. Substantially increased rates of substance abuse: and
9. Increases in social and mental behavioural issues:
10. four times the poverty rate of two parent households:
11. earlier births as well as lower birth weights:
12. mortality rate for infants within the first 28 days of life is four times higher for those with absent fathers:
13. adolescents from father-absent homes were 3.5 times more likely to experience pregnancy:
14. Individuals from father absent homes were found to be 279% more likely to carry guns and deal drugs:
15. 90 percent of all homeless and runaway youths
No, it’s not exclusive to black Americans, or blacks around the world. However, in the U.S. there is a clear delineation by race.
