Especially for kpmac.

I took a few recent shots which had exclusively blue sky backgrounds and replaced the skies with different cloud patterns.

I hope you enjoy these.

Nice, much more interesting than a plain blue background.

Well done, indeed. I viewed them all in download and your edges look good.

Good job at matching sun direction. Often the combinations I have seen look off.

Good work, Bubba. Luminar?

Very attractive, couldn't do it myself. #2, which is the most dramatic, light on the clouds and on the bird are in conflict. Light on the clouds from the left, light on the bird, behind to the right.

Thanks Fotoartist. The edges are indeed the trickiest. That plus light angle.

Thanks quixdraw. You are absolutely correct about sun angle in #2. What I discovered from this venture was that it is best to create your own sky backgrounds from the same vantage point as the subject and at the approximately same time of day. #2 was a "borrowed" background sky.

Thanks Mike.

Not Luminar but a very old inexpensive program ($30) called Smart Photo Editor which I purchased years ago.

I do not have Luminar as I rarely use this application.

Did enjoy them very much. #1 Has it, whatever it is. Maybe the symbolism.

These look so much better than the plain blue backgrounds. Indeed it is tough to get the edges and sun angles just right but with practice, it sure can make a huge difference. Thanks for the post, Bubba.

My only issue. But it's a nice set.
