you do not know much about Texas history .... check a history book to find out why citizens of the U.S. were in Mexico to start ..... U.S. citizens declared Texas free ..... they stole the property from Mexico ..... Mexico never intended to relinquish the territory ..... Did Mexico declare Texas an independent territory and allow it to be ceded to the "guests" from the United States ...... NO .... in 1846 the war was fought to establish permanent borders and because Mexico wanted Texas back .... there are many book on the subject .....try History of Texas 1685-1892 by John H. Brown ....

The confederate flag and civil disorder are two separate issues.
If you can't understand that, then just be quiet and let the adults talk.

So let me at least educate you so you know what you're defending.
1. The flag that you believe is the confederate flag is not and never was the flag of the Confederate States.
2. The actual flag of the Confederate States was the stars and bars.
3. The flag that white supremacists and traitors love was actually designed after the Battle of Bull Run. Because at that battle, soldiers and even commanders couldn't tell the difference between the United States Flag and the Traitor Country's flag. Thus they designed a "battle flag", so their illiterate soldiers could figure out what side they were on.
4. The original traitor's flag had 11 stars on it to stand for the 11 traitor states but the new flag has 13 stars on it. That's because the first flag indicated the first 11 traitor states to secede from the union. Later Missouri and Kentucky seceded and that brought the total of the traitor states to 13.
5. Thus when you refer to the Confederate Flag or the "Stars and Bars", you need to understand that you don't even understand what you're supporting.
But, you're a republican, so carry on.
