If there is a logical, reasonable, rational reason that holds any water at all, other than vanity or stubbornness; why he refuses to wear a mask, in light of the ongoing surge of infections, please explain.
I don't understand.

It seems as if Trump is intentionally trying to do everything wrong in managing this crisis and he is costing American lives. He not only won't wear a mask, he holds indoor rallies in virus hotspots. Just about every statement that he has made about the virus from the beginning has been wrong. He is actually using a virus which has killed over 120,000 Americans as a wedge political issue. I don't understand his motives. I really don't understand why the Trumpettes are following him like sheep over the edge of a cliff. This is so very sad!

I agree with everything you said. It is as though he is trying to make this country weak. He has been wrong in every step of the way with this national health crisis, which has also destroyed the economy.
He likes to fuel the racial unrest, by inappropriate racist labels.
Everything he does flies in the face of uniting the country. Something is terribly, terribly wrong.

Biden wears a mask; Trump doesn’t. That is not in dispute.

I asked a serious question: Why is Trump opposed to wearing a mask?

Cut the deflection crap, and try to respond like an adult.
If you don’t have an answer, say so. Don’t deflect with childish responses.

The Trumpeteers are under a great deal of stress lately. What with their fearless leader being trounced in the polls and all. Perhaps they need to go to a rally for Fat Donny. Hopefully one that's inside and has no one wearing a mask or socially distancing. Worked well in Tulsa and at this rate, we can eliminate quite a few Trump supporters by November.

Your question was not in the least bit serious. It was consistent with your negative predisposition towards Trump. I think you know the answer to your question but, if not, you would learn the reason(s) if you bothered to do some investigation. One reason is that he feels as though he's pretty safe in the WH. Another is when asked by the press, “I just don’t want to wear one myself,” Trump said in early April when asked if he’d wear a mask. “It’s a recommendation; they recommend it. I’m feeling good. I just don’t want to be doing — I don’t know, somehow sitting in the Oval Office … I think wearing a face mask as I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens, I don’t know. Somehow, I don’t see it for myself. I just — I just don’t.” My post was simply adding a counterpoint and to illustrate the hypocrisy of yours.

My question was serious. In light of all the scientific and medical recommendations, Trump refuses to wear a mask, and I thought some one might have a reason for that.
I am not talking about the Oval office (and you know that), I am talking about his saying "I don't see it for myself"; and his indisputable refusal to wear a mask at times that every other American would be---out of consideration for those around him. We wear a mask not to infect others. He is very true that he does nor wear a mask when he should, and that was the gist of my serious question. "He doesn't see it for himself, "I just don't".

Why doesn't he he "see it" for himself is the heart of the question. Why, Why, Why doesn't he wear a mask to set an example of the right thing to do? Saying he doesn't "see it" is not a meaningful answer.

Is it because he is vain, and fears that it might make him look silly; or some other valid, legitimate reason? And now with a surge, and many mayors mandating masks in their cities for all citizens , is Trump too proud to reconsider?
You speak of hypocrisy that I don't I see. What is hypocritical of asking those who support Trump why the leader of the free world in the middle of a pandemic refuses to wear a mask? Do you know the meaning of hypocrisy? My question was straightforward, leaning toward the belief that there is no good answer, but still receptive to anyone who might offer one.
You did not.

Marco Rubio said two days ago “Wear a damn mask”.
Not to Trump, but to America. Good advice for everybody but the President.
Wow!
