I took this, on Kodachrome slide film, somewhere around 1975. I used natural light from a window, with a paper reflector to provide fill-in light. (I don't remember this particular occasion, but I recognise the style, and know how I did it in those days). We both worked in the same company, and I used to use several of my colleagues as models. She would be well into her sixties by now. Shame we have to get old...

Thanks. I have a Nikon 35mm scanner which works well, but very slowly! They don't make it any more and I had trouble getting it to work with Windows7 64bit, but found a solution eventually. I have thousands of old B&W negatives and colour slides, which I will never have time to scan fully, so I cherry-pick them every now and then.

I really like this shot. I like the light and her expression. Have you tried to find her on Facebook? Bet she would lve to see this picture.
That's not a bad idea. Mind you, if she's anything like me, and we are of an age, then Facebook is more like Closedbook! And she is probably married, so will have changed her name.
