Maybe it's not the price, maybe no one needs one right now. Try again later. Best of luck!

In eBay you can look up the How many actual are sold. Right know to buy DX lenses make almost no sense,Nikon have a lots of good FX bodies now. I use the 810 and I wouldn’t go back to DX body.
I try to sell a18-55mm 2.8 what I have in Photo store as consignment, even he said they may not sell it ether.

Actually the Z50 is the latest crop camera by Nikon so the crop lenses are still quite relevant if you want to go with current technology. So a crop lens still is relevant.

I'm sure it is solid and good quality, but a brand new 10-20 DX AF-P Nikon lens is selling for around $280 right now. Those who want to go wide may care more about the 10mm than they do about the longer end going to 24 instead of 20, saving some money, and getting new with warranty.

No comparison between the two. The 10-24 is a $900 lens brand new. I paid $450 from Adorama used in excellent + condition. While the 10-20 afp is a great value it’s an all plastic inexpensive lens. Overall the 10-24 is a much better lens. You argument is a good and valid one if you are comparing new to new. $280 vs $900 is a no brainer. However new $280 vs Used $399 there really is no comparison. Also the 10-20 afp is compatible with only a limited number of DX cameras.

Why not sell it to the “Used“ department at Adorama or B&H? You won’t get retail but 1/2 retail is better than a bird in the bush.

Incomplete information. KEH is selling the lens from $348-$446. Clearly, why would anyone pay $399 when a reputable company is providing warranties and returns..after they have evaluated and cleaned up the lens? The price to sell the lens is somewhere from the price you will get from a place like KEH or UsedPhotoPro-- if you sell it to them-- to the a price below what they are selling the 'same' quality product for on their sites.

I have been trying to sell a Nikon (Nikkor) AF-S 10-24mm 1:3.5-4.5G ED DX Lens with accessories in this section for over 6 months. I have reduced the price several times, but have not had any takers. If the price is the issue (which I can't understand why), where can I find the current value of the lens so that I can re-post it accordingly??? I have looked on Ebay at the current value of similar lenses, and I have also looked at Adorama and another similar website to see what they are selling the same for. Suggestions are welcome, thank you.
I have been trying to sell a Nikon (Nikkor) AF-S 1... (show quote)

I think it is possible price is the issue. They seem to be going for $300-$350 on eBay. I bought mine used from Adorama for $450 used in excellent + condition which is basicly “like new”. and comes backed by Adorama with a 30 day return. For me, it was worth the extra $100 to know Adorama inspected the lens rated it and made sure it was working properly. Conversely it was not worth saving $50 to buy from someone I don’t know. Nothing against you, I am sure you are a great guy and have described the lens honestly and so forth but that is a buyers perspective. IMO that lens would sell if listed at $300. Is it a good lens at $399? Yes but there is too many available between $300-$350.
That is just my opinion.

In my opinion, eBay is the way to go. If you're selling a decent product, people will be willing to pay a decent price. Before I put something on eBay, I check recent sales to see if it's worth selling. Here's what that lens has sold for recently.

That price is on Amazon for that lens and KEH is the seller Amazon is using.

Perhaps you should see what one of the companies that buys used equipment will offer you. If you're looking for some new equipment they might make you a better offer towards that. It could also be that people are opting for the AF-P DX 10-20 instead since it is less than $300 and has very good reviews. I have that lens and am very happy with it. May not be the same quality as your lens, but may be close enough for many.

Mark the price at $10.00. You'll sell the lens in minutes. The discussion is about price, little else.

Imho, the issue with eBay and Amazon is the fee they take for the sale. Many like KEH. I personally prefer MPB and have consistently received more from them than anyone else. Another is FredMiranda, it’s worth a look over there as well. Also consider the timing of your sale... it just might not be right for the moment. There’s a link in this thread of posts to the “sold” on eBay list. They tell a story... of examples that sold high and/or low. Good luck.

I have dealt with "MPB" and have felt that they were very fair when buying and selling used equipment. You tell them what you want to sell and rate the condition and they Email you a quote. If you agree with the price they email you a free shipping label and once they have checked your item they deposit the amount in your bank. I would highly recommend them.

MPB has consistently paid me more for my used Nikon gear than KEH or Robert’s and the transactions were quick and easy. I have purchased equipment from all three and have been very satisfied with all of transactions. IMO sell it, once it is gone you will not likely miss it and the frustrations of selling it yourself will also come to an end. Good luck!

I too have had good dealings with mpb.com. I have bought and sold numerous items with them.
I have found that they offer better prices for your items than B & H, Roberts, KEH and Adorama.
