I’m amazed at the number of responses my ordinal message created. I appreciate everyone’s comments and poin of view. However my major point is a simple one that really hasn’t been addressed. With the incredible hardships US owners have had to endure recently would you rather spend your money locally supporting them or send it off shore to a communist country?

I hate to see my fellow Cubans suffering, because they are good people, the government, they are the ones who live well. In the end spend it here.
It must really be painful for you.

Forget Communism vs Capitalism. Good people are everywhere. What you will be missing if you go to Cuba instead of the US. In Cuba there are no homeless people, no one sleeping on the street. No racism. No shootings, little crime.
God it sounds like heaven. I’m sure there’s a waiting list years long of Americans who want to move there. In fact I’m surprised you haven’t moved there

I would rather spend my money in such a way as to have an interesting travel experience. That's why I've spent money to travel in places that interest me because I read about them in connection with adventure or in connection with WWII when I was young. Examples are Burma, Persia, China, Japan, Cambodia, Russia, Thailand (Siam), India, Egypt. If what kind of government they had was the ultimate criterion I wouldn't travel in my own country.
