Your comment of fake news is always a source of idiocy to me when referring to Fox News. So many Leftists tell us that Fox lies and yet when I have asked several times in over a year not one person can come up with an example of when Fox News lied. I am not talking about one of the pundits, Carlson, Hannity or the like but the Fox News program itself. Perhaps you can fill us all in on when Fox News lied.

I can tell you that MSNBC lied regarding the story of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman when they altered the tape recording of Zimmerman's call to the police to make it seem Zimmerman was a racist.

But go on and fill us in on Fox News.

Yes it is indeed sad. Perhaps I should say that I am offended that Betty Crocker is white.

When growing up I always called adults Mr.. Mrs. or Miss. Those close to our family but not related were called aunt or uncle. When I was born Uncle Ray brought be home from the hospital in his Model T. Uncle Ray was our neighbor and was approximately my grandfather's age. There was also was Aunt Tillie she worked with my mother. She was black and a very nice lady and indeed more intelligent than many other people that I have known.

I lived in Georgia for a time. I remember going to Aunt Fannie's Cabin, a restaurant in the Atlanta. The owners were black. I had the best fried chicken that I ever had there.

Folks need to relax and enjoy life. Few people care enough about you to bother to offend you.

Unlike many of you, I went to a inner city high school. Half of my classmates were black and about 30% of my teachers were black. I never had a bad black teacher. They had the highest standards. My high school was, at that time, one of the best in the nation. There are famous graduates both black and white.

This nonsense must stop.

It really is unfortunate that the Hard Left, both by intent and ignorance, utilizes every opportunity (most manufactured) to subvert/destabilize/bring down what has been until recently the most successfully implemented reasonable and equitable system of government in history. They are “offended” by virtually anything one can mention, and blatantly refuse to be guided by truth, intellect, reason or common sense, choosing as their mantra the “Goebbels principle”, wherein lies repeated a sufficient number of times eventually are believed. They profess peace and free speech but exhibit exactly the opposite. The US was founded by people who were wise, thoughtful and far-seeing enough to implement a government which, if their precepts were to be followed, would continue to be totally adequate and appropriate for many years to come. I always have been an optimist; at this point I have grave fears for our country!!!

Having said that, today (well out of Al Jolsons black grease paint burlesque imagery)
the picture of "Aunt Jemima" on the syrup bottle strikes me as any homely Aunt (black or white)
that bakes nice food... and perhaps does not appear racist, however Airwalter,
my maternal grand mother was a short portly Irish woman
that cooked well. Her image would be just as good on a bottle of "Nanas Syrup"... So why not?

I know that it is comforting to
trip down memory lane far enough to visit happy childhood,
and it's sad for us oldies when changes take place that take that away from us...
but it's a very small price to pay for helping to alleviate the pain of racism.
