I have no idea who he was talking to.

Your comment of fake news is always a source of idiocy to me when referring to Fox News. So many Leftists tell us that Fox lies and yet when I have asked several times in over a year not one person can come up with an example of when Fox News lied. I am not talking about one of the pundits, Carlson, Hannity or the like but the Fox News program itself. Perhaps you can fill us all in on when Fox News lied.

I can tell you that MSNBC lied regarding the story of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman when they altered the tape recording of Zimmerman's call to the police to make it seem Zimmerman was a racist.

But go on and fill us in on Fox News.

While I find their bias less than the fake news media they recently photoshopped an image of th occupied part of Seattle to add a guy with a gun. Too lazy to find the real ones that are there.

Isn’t it interesting there is no coverage of the business owners and residents of that area?

Yes, the beleaguered reporters like Shepard Smith and Chris Wallace can report the news accurately.

So then Fox News does not lie. I appreciate the honest comment. Perhaps you need to inform your other Left Wing friends of your findings. Your, common understanding, of Fox News is a misnomer to say the least.

That is just stupid! I doubt very much when children and family's were enjoying Aunt Jemima pancakes and syrup in the morning that they were thinking about that "nasty" black woman on those containers. I, and an awful lot of kids were very excited to see her friendly face every chance we had!

Pancakes and syrup were always a treat for us growing up and we never thought twice about Aunt Jemima being black, pink, purple or any other color as color had never, ever been an issue in our house. We had one black girl in our high school of about 500 students and she went to all the school dances, parties, etc., and no one gave it a second thought. Looking back, I'm sure that she felt different, but we never viewed her as such.

Yes it is indeed sad. Perhaps I should say that I am offended that Betty Crocker is white.

When growing up I always called adults Mr.. Mrs. or Miss. Those close to our family but not related were called aunt or uncle. When I was born Uncle Ray brought be home from the hospital in his Model T. Uncle Ray was our neighbor and was approximately my grandfather's age. There was also was Aunt Tillie she worked with my mother. She was black and a very nice lady and indeed more intelligent than many other people that I have known.

I lived in Georgia for a time. I remember going to Aunt Fannie's Cabin, a restaurant in the Atlanta. The owners were black. I had the best fried chicken that I ever had there.

Folks need to relax and enjoy life. Few people care enough about you to bother to offend you.

Unlike many of you, I went to a inner city high school. Half of my classmates were black and about 30% of my teachers were black. I never had a bad black teacher. They had the highest standards. My high school was, at that time, one of the best in the nation. There are famous graduates both black and white.

This nonsense must stop.

CNN had a reporter there - but then another black was killed by another policeman.

Why is it nonsense to avoid racial stereotypes (and/or the perception of them)? This is simply acknowledging that we live in a pluralistic society, so let’s avoid disrespect — real or perceived, intentional or ignorantly innocent.

Were do you see disrespect in my post? What the heck are some of you putting in your coffee this morning?

I too find it interesting that there seems to be no news coverage of the business owners and normal people in those six blocks, how this take over affects them, their businesses, their relative feelings of safety and so on. I also find it amazing that if someone from the Right side of the aisle displays a firearm everyone runs scared like Chicken Little and the sky falling. If someone on the Left has a firearm all is right with the world and there is no harm coming. Just more of the Left hypocrisy.

I find it amazing that the Leftist leaders of Seattle simply allow these people to disrupt the normal business owners that are there. I have not seen but imagine graffiti all over, damage to buildings etc. Who will pay for that? What is the Left Wing Chief of Police doing? Looks like nothing.

It really is unfortunate that the Hard Left, both by intent and ignorance, utilizes every opportunity (most manufactured) to subvert/destabilize/bring down what has been until recently the most successfully implemented reasonable and equitable system of government in history. They are “offended” by virtually anything one can mention, and blatantly refuse to be guided by truth, intellect, reason or common sense, choosing as their mantra the “Goebbels principle”, wherein lies repeated a sufficient number of times eventually are believed. They profess peace and free speech but exhibit exactly the opposite. The US was founded by people who were wise, thoughtful and far-seeing enough to implement a government which, if their precepts were to be followed, would continue to be totally adequate and appropriate for many years to come. I always have been an optimist; at this point I have grave fears for our country!!!

I have to apologize to those of us that have common sense on this site. I am sorry I made a comment along with that link about cats. I never dreamed that this would be turned into the argument of the last 2 days. If anyone knows how to ask that this be sent to the attic I wish someone would go ahead and do that. Again, I am sorry for this mess; it was not my intention. Enough is enough! There really are a lot of phoney people on this site. Many of them you never hear from when it comes to photography or interesting things to look at; only when they see something to allow them to cause more trouble do they crawl out from the sewers and rock!

If the Left prevails - or perhaps even if it does not completely - it won't be long before it will be forbidden to say any word to anybody, write anything, picture anything or even look at anyone without being castigated, harassed, vilified or even jailed!!! It will be impossible to do anything without somebody being "offended".
