All photos taken with a Nikon D7100 w/300mm F4 PF ED VR, all using Nikon 1.4 III Teleconverter
The Parc des Rapides Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Lasalle, Quebec Canada where I usually look for birds has become too busy to enjoy the walks. All these photos were taken on a bike path 1 block from my front door. Plenty of grass to walk on to avoid the bikes, at times it is deserted. There are trees on both sides of the path, bird nests, well hidden, and numerous. There are too many Red winged Black Birds just being a nuisance, I rarely shoot them.

Eastern Kingbird. I thought it was sneezing at first, but he was trying to dislodge a flower bud stuck in his throat. You can see the ejected item last photo bottom left.

sroter, these are WONDERFUL! Very sharp and how lucky are you to have them so close to your front door. I look forward to seeing many more and the one of the bird coughing out that flower bud was something
