I found a slide projector that I am considering for purchase, a Kindermann Model 1041. I can't find out what bulb it takes. I don't want to buy a projector and can't obtain the correct lamps. I know the bulb is 24 volts and 250 watts however that is all I know. Also any suggestions on where to obtain it. Thanks,
Ace

If there's a 3 letter code (ELH) on the bulb, you can enter that code on Amazon & will probably come up with a match. Otherwise, enter the make & model. If Amazon doesn't have it, try a google search.

A quick look at myprojectorlamps.com returned several options. Perhaps different versions for different countries or different brightness choices. You might want to contact them.

I would also look for a sticker somewhere on the outside of the projector or inside the lamp compartment with reference to a lamp number. I did not search for a manual for th projector, but that would be another option to follow.

That price is actually pretty much in line for a projector bulb replacement, especially if it includes the whole mounting frame...

I imported Kindermann photo equipment in the 70s-80s. Hadn't looked for them in the last several decades. Glad you found a lead to possible bulb sources.

My google search came up with computer games, a law firm, medical and www.kindermann.de which is possibly the remains of the parent company, now selling projection systems, etc.

German company, excellent quality. I hope there are some remnants still surviving into the 21st century.

I just happened to purchase this same projector today. The seller had been in contact with kindermann customer support who suggests Osram 64655 HLX EHJ. I found this bulb on Amazon for $7 or 10 pack for $23.
