White Guys Matter Too.
Love that pelican - all the colors in his bill really come out in that shot.
Great series. I agree white is exceptionally difficult to capture. You have been very successful! Thanks for sharing. Like several others, the white wolf is my favorite.

Thanks everyone. I have been asked how do I handle my whites. 3 simple things.
1. Capture with minimal blinkies when shooting and Shoot in Raw.
2. Always check that no whites are clipped in Post. Various ways to do this, all about the same.
3. I use the sliders in Raw to Lower the highlights. And in Photoshop I use Shadows/Highlights to Lower the Highlights and bring out detail in them.
The enemy of whites is contrast. Keep the contrast low at the high end of the tonal range. It's OK to clip blacks and make them rich.

Great images and processing. Swan image is a classic.
Absolutely stunning set of shots. Each one a winner in any contest.
Fabulous set. Thanks for sharing it.
You have a great eye for photography. I love looking at your work. And the title for this post is perfect; no doubt someone will be offended. So be it!
Thanks everyone. I know this is just a brag piece but I was able to get you thinking about something else too with the concept.
