BRILLIANT!!!

You and RetiredCPO casually ignore the deaths, suffering and fear that over 2,000,000 of our people are now experiencing and take comfort that other countries have it worse.

I'd bet that during any other flu season the media could have easily whipped people into a frenzy like they have for this virus.

Odd that we're not hearing about the dangers of not social distancing and not wearing masks now. There is a new crisis to report on.

Interesting, I've never heard Trump referred to in exactly those words, but I guess they fit. I believe you sell Biden short. Is he better able to run the country than any other living American? Probably not. Is he better able to run the country than anyone we had a chance to get elected? I believe so. It will be a binary choice, and it will probably be between Biden and Trump. If it is, then voting for anyone else will be the same as staying home. Even if your descriptions were accurate, "old fart crazy" strikes me as safer than "bat shit crazy". If you truly believe that Joe is as dangerous as Trump, then write in whoever you wish. If you believe Biden would be even a tiny bit more sane a choice than Trump, you owe it to yourself, and everyone else to vote for him. A write in is a cowards way of trying to avoid responsibility.

That attitude is exactly what two corrupt inept political parties have conned Americans into think and is the reason we have the situation we are in.

Exactly the opposite is true ...
Your vote is precious yet you waste it in a candidate that you don’t consider the best.

John Quincy Adams

Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.

When you vote the lesser of two evil you are throwing your vote away. Selling you vote is the cowards way out .

Great quote by Adams which begs the question - how can we change this system for the better? People have to really want change and not just give lip service to it.

Easy... don’t throw you vote away on. It’s a personal vote. Use it

The duolopy of our political parties has to go. They have rigged the game in their favor. I probably will not vote for this really terrible choice but instead I will vote for the Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen. I like their policies the best on just about everything.

The country needs a fair election free from Russian intervention and voter suppression; and all citizens should be afforded the ability to vote by mail.

Except for your belief in your infallibility, you are no better, and no worse than hundreds of other wingers.

And don't worry that you may be helping to elect the worse candidate, and put in office a very dangerous president? At this point this is no longer theoretical.

Change can be very good, but refusing to vote against the worst candidate is more about Alice in Wonderland than helping change take place.

That vote will be meaningless, and can only be justified if you truly believe neither candidate is better than the other.

Not easy. People think they are locked into a democrat or republican and have no other choice. The cycle of voting for the lesser of two evils will continue.

Afraid so. There are so many things to dislike about Trump from his constant bickering with the press (although I will admit it is clear that there is a large segment in the press that is mostly out for him but why engage?), his twitter messages, not being presidential, but where he really lost me is when he threatened to use the military to put down unrest. Where does he think he lives and governs? Dangerous thinking in my view. As for Biden and the Democrats - I cannot vote for that party that slowly leaks left and thinks that more government is the answer to just about everything.

What choice do I have? Like I said the political party duolopy has to go.

Yes they have been conned into thinking that but it’s not true.

The best place to start is at the state level. With open primaries.
All candidates, all parties on the primary ballot with only the top two going to the final general election.

You have been sucked in by that phony BS about the Ruskies. Don't trust the DemoKKKraps with mail-in ballots.

The biggest traitor is beyond a doubt Barak Osama. He sold us out and we are finding that he was running a cabal of sleaze bags.
