We were there recently, saw and shot egrets, herons and a sandhill crane and red wing blackbirds. Did not see the eagles in their nest, though.

Hi Karin and thank you. We didn't see the eagles either. We saw several nests and eagles at Ottowa WLS but couldn't get any decent shots
