Dear friends: As a pharmacist at a major New York City Hospital, I have been extremely busy when dealing with the COVID-19 crisis. This has challenged me because while I have Infectious Disease and Virology experience, I wasn’t fully prepared. Of course I adapted and made necessary changes for the care if the patients here and in the communities. The stress of working and coming home was overwhelming. I have done some indoor macro photography. So even though I dropped off the radar so to speak, I haven’t fallen off the map. I will still bring some insight to photography, some photographs and of course some questions for the pros out there.
I want to wish all of you to
BE WELL!
STAY SAFE! and
HAPPY SHOOTING!
Thanks for doing your job which I know was above and beyond.
Welcome back. And thanks for your service.

Hello, I as a 3 year old advanced Newbie in DSLR Photography, am interested too in doing Macro Photography, have done some research on what equipment I will require. I decided to be economical and start with 3 Kenko Extension tubes and my Nikon 50mm 1.8g lens, I also have 4 other lens, a 35mm, 18-140mm, 55-200mm, 10-20mm, all Nikon Lens. I have also considered a Ring Light for my Nikon D3300. Any Tip, Suggestions, Advice, you might enjoy sharing, I will be more than willing to consider in my Photography journey.
Thanks.
Welcome back and thanks for your service.
Yes, your stress level must be very high. It's bad enough for me when I go food shopping every couple of weeks. Hang in there!
Did you read the Sunday funnies? Most of the strips had hidden tributes to essential workers.
I see you're in Brooklyn. I was born in Victory Memorial Hospital. It was going to be closed a few years ago, but apparently, it's still open.
Welcome back and thank you for what you do to help others. I hope you can quickly recover from your ordeal. We look forward to seeing your new postings!
Cheers from the Big Mango,
Don
Glad you are back, I noticed I had not seen you for a time -
