I note this Topic did not make the Digest, so I don't expect much activity. Thanks to you who sought it out.
you did make the digest; at least mine. beautiful work.
These are fantastic pictures. Beautiful church....
Catching up on my replies:
Tom (tshift), I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. I, too, am fond of churches. I’ve posted several previously and no doubt will continue to do so.
Lee (llamb), nimbushopper, bobmcculloch, jaymatt, phlash46, blacks2, crafterwantabe, and Tom Bar I appreciate your comments. I’m pleased you enjoyed them.
Blair, I appreciate your observation. Poland is indeed a beautiful country.
Mac430, it was my pleasure. Thanks for expressing your approval.
AzPicLady, I agree. Thanks for saying so.
philo, yes, I see that now. I guess I checked too soon. My posts on Arches NP (23 May) and Helsinki, Finland (18 May) did not. Thanks for your compliment. (I posted right after midnight on 5 June and it was not on the 5 June Digest that came out after 0400; that was why I made my comment.)

Great series, David.
Thank you. I'm pleased you liked it.
Beautiful church and excellent series of images.

Thanks, JoAnne. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The deceptive sign: You may read Polish, but this sign is in Latin. Maybe this is why you had some problems to read it.
cambriaman, Thanks for your comment.
GreenDruid, I made an oops. I don't read either Polish or Latin, unfortunately. I had 2 years of Latin in high school, but my skills in that language are skimpy. I am pleased that you were so observant. I hope you enjoyed the pictures.
Great shots of a beautiful church David. Poland is on our list of places to visit.

Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Krakow, Poland
In 2015, both choral groups I sing with (church and college) made concert tours of Europe. The Choir tour ended just 5 days before the Chorus tour was to begin, so I decided it was silly to fly back to the states from Munich, Germany and just a few days later fly back to Helsinki, Finland. One of the Choir members is a full-time Travel Agent so I asked her to plan me 5 days in Poland – a country I’d not yet visited. I spent several days in Warsaw followed by days in Krakow. This church was just across the side street from my hotel, and my room even looked out at it. I’m not sure many UHHers have been there, so I thought I’d post a few photos of this pretty church.

Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mar... (

Excellent presentation, particularly, detailed inner spaces and figures of the Saints are the most enjoyable. Thanks so much, David!

Thanks very much. I usually try to include some interior details (if I manage to get inside, of course).
