Actually I was shooting wide open 5.6 on a Nikon 200 500 . Great lens . Also I normally shoot a Nikon D500 but this was my backup camera D500's little brother D7500 also a great camera !

Many photos of birds are just the bird, however you have a way of capturing a bird in a totally natural
with flowers & foliage. I went back & looked at your bird pics they are truly great
.Thanks for sharing those beautiful bird photos, & thanks for the reminder that birds & animals
look best in a natural setting.

Thanks ! My feelings exactly . A photo with just the subject can be rather boring so I never crop tight . I mostly try to include it's habitat !
