Great series. I downloaded the Kestrell, considering I am chasing some right now, and looked at your settings. For me, if I really want to freeze the action, I shoot at 1/5000. The Kestrell was at 1/3200. You might want to try shooting a little faster. Good exposure and post processing should cover any noise issues that might arise at a higher shutter speeds. Chasing flying birds is challenging but a kick. Thanks for the post.
