Just wondering if you prefer more or less cropping for this photo?
I love dad's eyes!

#1 for me. Although I can see what you are getting at with the extra crop.

More than #1 (though excellent as is!), Less crop than #2 - complete heads ears an all, an inch below the pup's chin. Just my opinion - but I think that crop would be almost as strong as #1.

#2 for me. Photolady2014 said, "I love dad's eyes!" and I agree that the eyes are the story, not the legs, not the background... simply the eyes. So Corp to the story

Yes, ears or no ears on dad. One way or the other.. so clip to eliminating the ears

Like both but lean toward less cropping. Either way, a nice shot.

Noap! No crop! I (in my opinion) feel the uncropped gives more context, offers placement for these beasts!
Great image, by the way!!

I agree, do not crop as tight as #2, include the full face and ears of bother adult and kit. I think that would give a very intense look to the parent and a little shyness to the kit.

I like the second one. The first is just a nicely captured picture, the second one is a story.

I don't see that it has to be one or the other. But if there was only one choice I would go with the first photo. They are all great!

You could be a little tighter, but I think it is better than the old#2. Another thought, if you are expert at PP would be to slightly darken the pup which would help emphasize the Dad's eyes. In truth, alll are very fine, so probably nit picking on my part.

I would guess the amount of cropping would depend on how the picture was to be displayed.
