Is there any photo editing software that comes close to removing noise like the one from Topaz? I am currently using the 30 day free trial and it’s amazing but it’s a little expensive.

NIK Dfine does a good job, and the “old” version is still free. I have both it and the new Topaz AI DeNoise and sometimes that old Dfine does a better job. Sometimes Topaz does. Depends on the image. Dfine is more customizable, especially if called up within Photoshop.

I really like Topaz Denoise AI, and use it frequently....but using the current update to the program I'm seeing odd visible artifacts on some (not all) images. Topaz AI Clear which is part of Denoise AI doesn't generate artifacts, and also does a very nice job.

My opinion is that at this time there is nothing available that does a better job than Topaz Denoise AI. I know that it is a little pricey, but you already know it does an amazing job.

I use it all the time! Love clear easy to use! This was a fairly noisy photo!

This on Google under SoftOrbit Easy Photo Denoise: Have not used it. Might be worth a free trial.

"Easy Photo Denoise takes care of grainy shots by removing digital noise and reducing the grainy appearance. The tool's noise reduction algorithms employ artificial intelligence to recognize objects and background, applying adaptive noise reduction to different areas of the image".
Good Luck & Stay safe.

In my humble opinion Topaz Denoise is the best noise control program available today. I still have, in addition to Denoise AI, the previous version that I use more often because I am comfortable with it. It does a great job but because of the artificial intelligence I have been able to see that in many cases Denoise AI can do an even better job than the old software.

Denoise AI has AI clear, a sharpening program incorporated in its software. I use it all the time to sharpen my files. It works to perfection without creating halos or artifacts, at least in my case I have not seen any.
Topaz has excellent softwares and periodically they have those softwares for sale.

I got it on sale through Nikon Rumors, and I like it.

I use Denoise AI as well as Sharpen AI. My suggestion, wait until Thanksgiving when the software goes on sale. I saved $30 of each.

I have an image I have been working on off and on over the past several months. High Iso image taken before sunrise of a Sandhill crane at Bosque del apache. I was not satisfied with the results of the NIK define but with the Topaz Denoise, how. To me, the $79 was worth it.

If it’s not too severe Lightroom does a good job of removing noise

They rotate sales of different products every few months and, if you sign up for their webinars, there is usually a 20% of any product code at the end of each.

See my post below in Photo Gallery. The images of the Trinity College Library were shot at ISO 51,500 ( I foolishly forgot to open the aperture from f9) and the originals were extremely noisy. I ran them through Topaz Denoise AI twice and I was very pleased with the results. I did have to resize since the processed images were 59 MB.
