That is pretty!! I'm glad you're out of your "dark" phase for now, Jack
Do you ever try to recreate a look, or make note of blend modes/textures for an attempt at similar? I have a small handful of favorite textures + one of my moon shots that I tend to use quite often.
I like it a lot. Beautiful work.

No. I never have any plans when I start out because I have no ability to visualize the finished product. It's fun, kind of like a treasure hunt. When I start out I know there is something in there somewhere if I can only find it. Of course if I find it I only know that
I like it. If I really think I have something I will sometimes post it and see what others think.
I have several hundred backgrounds, textures and overlays, most of which I have created myself that I use mostly with composites. They are fun to make and satisfying when I am able to use one in a project.

Thanks Mike. Dark pictures are easier to hide mistakes in though.

And this popped up
Oh Wow!!! And that's not the photographer in me reacting, but the dressmaker!
I can see a fabric in exactly these colours, the flower repeated over and over again, same flower but turned into different directions.
Very nice Jack, I like it much better than the dark ones...
Very pretty and it would make a good wall hanger for a home decor where it would compliment a color pallet.
