It's been a long time since I last posted. I was caretaker for my mom who had dementia for several years. She passed last year at the age of 91. Just a month before she passed my daughter had twins. When my daughter returned to work I took care of the twins until their first birthday. At that time my husband retired and had foot surgery that kept him non-weight bearing for 2 months. Just as he was beginning to return to walking, his elderly father took ill and required care. My father-in-law just passed last week. For the first time in years I find myself with some freedom of time. True, everything in our state remains closed and we are supposed to be at home unless we are going out for essentials, but I've managed to sneak out with my camera a few times. I don't regret taking care of everyone when they needed me, but freedom, limited as it is right now, still feels pretty good.
Sounds like you had a rough spell there. Glad you can get some rest!
Welcome aboard. We look forward to seeing more of your work. Glad you can rest a spell now and do for yourself.

How fortunate your family is to have such a caring person to look after them. You have given them a lot of love. I’m glad you have some time now to enjoy doing an activity that allows you to express your creativity.
