I would expect such a comment from Chapel Hill, the Berkeley of North Carolina.

That rifle, with a silencer, is made for killing people, not Bambi. And 'armor piercing bullets'?
I'm all for home defense and self protection. But not for killing someone when a bullet flies through my walls and enters a house 2 or 5 away to kill an innocent parent or child.
I thought that, for most of America, silencers are illegal?
Those rifles take game of all types every year. You're tied up with appearances and ignoring functionality. Actually rifles in the AR or AK configuration are quite a bit more ergonomic than the traditional wood-stocked rifle or shotgun.
"Armor piercing" is a catchall term. Armor piercing ammunition is actually not very useful for self-defense or hunting. And you're being overly dramatic when when you state that killing folks "2 or 5 houses away". You need to prove your thesis with actual data before you make those comments.
Silencers, or suppressors, are legal in the U.S. They require a Class 3 weapons permit, which costs $200 in addition to the cost of the suppressor. Actually suppressors are ideal for hunting. They're very common in Europe, and don't carry the stigma as here in the U.S. The silencer was designed to protect the shooter from the deafening noise of a firearm. And a silencer doesn't "silence" anything. Most all ammunition is supersonic, and therefore can't be silenced by anything. The suppressor only baffles a certain amount of noise. You're projecting.
If you don't want a suppressed weapon, an AK-47, AR-15, or any other weapon, don't buy it. However, you don't have the right to repress the rights of others.
Nice shots, Denny. I really like #3 because of the low angle. I like shooting from that angle because it makes the subject look bigger. Keep shooting and posting anything you like. When you get paid for it that's the icing on the cake.

Thank you for that statement! Too bad that so many ignorant people can’t accept the Bill of Rights these days.

I set my 20 gauge pump by the screen door last summer. I made sure it was loaded and ready for action. The post man came along with the UPS man and several other people walked by my house that day. Either I have the laziest 20 gauge on history or guns don't do anything without a human controlling them. 😂
Absolutely. Guns do not kill, people kill.
Before the gun there was bow and arrow. Before that spears. Before than clubs.
Do not blame guns. If someone want to kill something, they will always find a way ...........

Should we request no photos of
Baseball bats
Knives
Tire irons
Screw drivers
Swords
Spears
Slingshots
Well, you get the idea ..........
Guns do not kill, people kill and they will always find a way to do it.
I actually enjoy the pictures of them although I don't own an AK that looks like that. Mine is the standard military issue and uglier than sin. But remember...the gun is simply a tool and it's neither evil or godly...it simply serves a function and the congregate stops crime and saves lives some half million to three and a half million times each year. Right here in North Carolina we have two legged, four legged, and no legged aggressors and a firearm is the best available protection especially for someone like me who is too old to run or fight but I still shoot at close to Marksman category.
Bill, with a comment like that I'll presume that you are simply not a hunter. There's a certain amount of skill and a certain amount of luck to a single shot kill and I'm not out to let a wounded animal die a nasty death simply because some firearms illiterate thinks that everyone is a sniper qualified hunter.

Physician, heal thy self.
Hey Paul, I live close to Ft. Bragg and I wouldn't object to a howitzer picture series at all. If I have to listen to them I might as well see them in action, right?

Ditto....... That was design to kill people no true hunter of game would ever use it!!!!!

From the classic movie Shane:
Shane:
A gun is a tool, Marion, no better or no worse than any other tool, an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

Nice on both the mods and the photos.
Personally, I lean toward a 7.62 AR-15 or an M82A1.

An AR in 7.62 caliber is an AR10
