Very nice, Terje. Love Bergen, Norway. Stayed there a couple of days, before going to Oslo and on to Svalbard. In fact, our cat is named Bergen because it was thought to be a Norwegian Forest Cat. Later it turned out he's more likely a Maine Coon, but kept the name.

We took the train from Oslo to Bergen and back in the summer of 1973, but had a short turnaround, so we didn't get to explore the city. We spent 11 weeks going all around Europe on the train and that was the most beautiful ride of all. However, we spent a day in Bergen two years ago at the start of a cruise and got to explore the beautiful city.

Did a Viking cruise last June that ended in Bergen. Should have looked at the details more closely when we booked the cruise because we had no time at all in Bergen. (And I have relatives near Bergen! Disappointing and may never get back there. However, we loved Norway.
